Hello and welcome: Coqtail Hour on DFOS!

If this is your first time here, we're so glad you found our little corner of the internet!

This is our brand new digital space for the Coqtail Hour community. We hope to use this platform to foster creative connections on a deeper level, host events and experiences, introduce community members, and more!

We're Sama and Jacqueline, the duo behind Coqtail Hour, a creative community and experiential design studio. In May we started building the bones of a community rooted in local, accessible creative experiences. Since then we've hosted nine events across the SF Bay Area and watched a lot of strangers turn into friends in real time.

Our mission is to prove you don't need to live in a particular city to live a creative life, and to build the rooms that make that true. We've started calling it a fourth space: not home, not work, not one place you have to live near, but a room and community that grows with you.

How to use the Coqtail Hour DFOS space:#

• Keep up with events, workshops, and residencies before they're announced anywhere else

• Meet other members, and find the people whose work makes you think

• Share resources, links, and things you're working on

• Add yourself to our member directory so the rest of the community can find you

• Tell us what's missing, so we can build it

We're launching this space alongside our first creative residency: The Global Creative Cohort. Twelve weeks with multidisciplinary creatives across the world, ending with a collaborative creative release we publish together. Read more about it here →

For now we're keeping things fairly barebones, so please bear with us while we build. We'd genuinely love your thoughts on what would make this space useful. That's the whole point of doing this with you all!
